This kit includes both the OPM510 Optical Power Meter and the SLS520 Stabilized Light Source.
The OPM510 gives absolute and referenced power measurements that ensure fast and accurate loss budget and insertion loss measurements. When placing tones on the fiber using a Tempo Communications source provides the optical power meter will definitively identify fiber optic cables.

The SLS520 handheld 1310/1550nm laser source that can be used to perform optical loss measurements with tone detect capability in conjunction with a standard optical power meter. This unit is durable and compact and provides a stable light source that interfaces to all industry standard connectors.
